Hot damn it’s a Queer Slam is a travelling 2SLGBTQPIA+ poetry slam series. That runs September to April. We are honoured to be a part of Bricks & Glitter once again, check out their full schedule here . Our event is for you! Bring your talents to our showcase and open mic. We have a wonderful and supportive audience who can’t wait to see your talents! Bring your poetry, music, dance, magic and let’s build something together. Be brave, be scared, be you. We can’t wait. Hosted by Heather Beamish and Robert Molloy and our incredible feature is Cass Meyers!

Our feature is Cass Myers who is a national spoken word poetry slam champion, host, organizer, and coach. They were the director of “Louder Than A Bomb Canada” with LOVE “Leave Out Violence” and recently completed a residency at “The Pink Door”. They also were the winners of 2019’s underground Indies Championships at The Canadian Festival of Spoken Word.

Come sign up, remember we will give you a string of beads if you’d prefer not to be photographed and as always there is a pay what you can option. Door is 7 dollars.
