rule #2: The DJs are only allowed to spend $10 on the records they spin during their set (receipts mandatory)

SINCE PEOPLE WERE ASKING:
The receipt thing is to encourage people to go out and do some fresh buys - not just picking through their collection and valuing whatever they want to play at $10. The fun is all in the challenge!
